Description
We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Medical Center I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma!Location: 3800 E 2nd St, Edmond, OK 73034
Salary: competitive and dependent on experience
Schedule: Variable; must be willing to work AM shifts for surgeries

With three experienced veterinarians who each bring their own unique style, we're looking for someone adaptable, collaborative, and confident working alongside a diverse medical team - all while treating every patient and client like family.
Who You Are:
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Oklahoma, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
- 3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dental Experience; scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs
- Skilled in phlebotomy, IV Catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
- Confident with medical math and drug calculations
- Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
- Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
- And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
