Description

Experienced small animal veterinarian to work in a casual or locum capacity our small independent veterinary clinics. We have 2 clinics with 2.5FTE vets with experienced support staff and a wonderful supportive team who work together cohesively to provide great quality of care to our patients and our wonderful long term loyal clients. 

Hours 8:3/9 am-4/6pm but flexible M-F, days available are flexible 

No afterhours or on call duties. 

Requirements

You need to be comfortable educating clients to value and making confident diagnostic and treatment recommendations  in the consult room along side one of our fabulous vet liasion nurses who are there to support and assist you in every consult. 

Experienced with dental procedures including extractions. 

Experienced with routine surgical procedures such as speys, castrations, lumpectomies. A bonus if you like to do more complex surgeries but not essential. 

Enjoy working up medical cases and also more routine dermatology consults. 

We have digital IM3 dental and DRGEM radiology and Ultrasound. 

We use Idexx in house Procyte, Catalyst and Sediview in addition to using the and reference laboratories. 

We use specialist surgeons and sonologists and cardiologists and have access to the local  specialist referral and emergency hospitals if required.

Our PMS is Ezyvet and Vetceck and have great IT and systems to ensure great work flow. 

We like to have a schedule that does not exhaust you and allow time for you to practice good quality standards of care and not feel fried at the end of the day. 

Plenty of support staff so you only need to do what vets can only do. 

We also like to have a bit of fun.
