Requirements
What you'll need to succeed:
- Solid technical skills in emergency medicine and critical care support.
- Excellent ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve effectively in urgent situations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and the veterinary team.
- A clear dedication to providing high-quality and timely patient care.
- The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
- Competence in maintaining accurate patient records.
- The ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations.
Bonus points if you have:
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligibility to become certified in South Carolina.
- 3+ years of experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary setting.
- Familiarity with assisting in a variety of emergency procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
