Description
Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a busy 24/7 emergency and referral hospital with full in-house laboratory capabilities, 6 surgical suites, fluoroscopy (C-arm), 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT with fluoroscopy package, 1.5T GE MRI, ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and endoscopy. EPVMC has well-staffed referral services in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery along with a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced care to a well-educated and devoted client base.As we continue to grow, our Neurology Department is expanding. We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Nurse (CVT/LVT/RVT) who thrives in a fast-paced, highly skilled environment and has a strong interest in anesthesia and advanced procedures. This is not a routine nursing position. Neurology is one of the most technically advanced departments in the hospital, with a strong emphasis on anesthesia monitoring, and precision-based care.

Neurology Veterinary Technician

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia for neurologic procedures
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and interpret patient data in real time
- Assist with MRI/CT workflows and patient preparation
- Support neurosurgical procedures alongside specialists
- Provide exceptional inpatient care for neurologic patients
- Communicate clearly with doctors and team members to ensure seamless case management
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT required)
- Strong anesthesia skills and experience with advanced monitoring
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-acuity situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a highly specialized department
- Experience in specialty or emergency medicine is preferred but not required for the right candidate with a strong foundation.
