Stonyridge Veterinary Services-Lead Registered Veterinary TechnicianTroy, OH
Full-time-4-10-hour shifts
Hours: M-F 8a-6p
Stonyridge Veterinary Services is looking for a Lead RVT to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As an RVT, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years veterinary experience as a nurse or technician highly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong veterinary skill set
- Confident and reliable
- Surgical/anesthesia experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Assertive and proficient
- Team player
Essential Functions:
- Coordiante staff duties, direct flow on the floor
- Participate and develop staff evaluations
- Training/mentorship
- Evaluate performance/goals
- Maintain open communication with staff and leadership
- Oversee controlled substance and surgery logs
- Equipment maintenance
- Have accountability and disciplinary conversations with employees
