Veterinarian (Full-Time or Part-Time) – Urgent Care
We are looking for an experienced doctor to join our team across, or at, one of our two locations (Newark and Wilmington, Delaware). We’re open 7 days a week (10am–7pm), offering the perfect balance of fast-paced medicine without overnight shifts. Full-time doctors work just 3 days per week with full benefits.
Our medicine: This is where things get fun. You’ll see a huge variety of cases—trauma, urgent care, sick pets, weird one-offs, and everything in between. No two days look the same, and the pace keeps things engaging.
We practice high-quality medicine with all the tools you’d expect:
- Full in-house IDEXX lab suite
- Imagyst for rapid cytology and pathology reads
- Ultrasound and digital radiology with automatic radiologist review (within the hour)
- Integrated Cubex controlled drug system
You’ll be able to work cases up properly—but also practice common-sense, spectrum-of-care medicine, meeting clients where they are while still delivering excellent care.
- Surgery available, but not required
- Work with experienced doctors who enjoy both medicine and surgery
- Boarded surgeon available for orthopedic procedures
- Strong referral network of nearby specialty and ER hospitals
It’s truly the best of both worlds: you can approach cases with an ER mindset when needed, but also lean on strong GP fundamentals.

What we offer:
- Compensation: $150,000 base salary plus monthly production (no negative accrual). All of our doctors are making well over $200,000, with the opportunity to exceed $250,000 (and still just 3 days a week!)

- Fully staffed shifts: 4 technicians/assistants + 2 CSRs per doctor

Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Min 2+ years of clinical experience (GP, ER, or urgent care). Our current doctors range from 5 to 15 years of ER and GP experience.
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
(This is NOT the right fit for a brand-new graduate—we move fast and need confident clinicians.)
Schedule:
- Full-time: 3 days/week
- Part-time: 2 days/week
- Shared/rotating weekend coverage required
