About You

You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital. You’re comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your Experience & Skills

• Recent experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office receptionist
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently
• Is a great team player
• Has experience with answering multi-phone lines
• Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Is familiar with standard office equipment
• Can problem-solve
• Weekend and holiday availability is required

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists San Antonio is a leading specialty and emergency veterinary hospital dedicated to delivering advanced, compassionate care for pets. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology including CT, MRI, a linear accelerator, ultrasound, an in-house blood bank, and a full pharmacy, supporting a wide range of specialties such as neurology, critical care, surgery, internal medicine, and oncology to ensure exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greeting clients and patients
• Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and print receipts
• Maintain an individual cash box which is to be balanced at the end of each shift
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service in a positive manner
• Assist the team with additional tasks as required
