CVETS is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing team in a unique split-role position across our West Columbia and Northeast locations- just 20 minutes apart. This hybrid opportunity offers the best of both worlds: the efficiency and focus of outpatient medicine paired with the depth and complexity of a 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital. In this dynamic hybrid role, you’ll practice high-quality internal medicine across two distinct but fully integrated care settings.
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
- Deliver Advanced Diagnostics & Care: Provide internal medicine consultations, case management, and advanced diagnostics across a diverse caseload
- Work Across Care Models: Split your time between our West Columbia outpatient specialty hospital and our Northeast 24-hour emergency and referral center
- Leverage Advanced Technology: Utilize ultrasound and endoscopy at both locations, with access to MRI and CT imaging at our Northeast facility
- Collaborate at a High Level: Partner with specialists in Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, and Critical Care across both hospitals
- Continuity of Care: Support cases from initial consult through diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up

Requirements
- Board-Certified (DACVIM) or Residency-Trained in Internal Medicine
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and case management skills
- Excellent client and referring veterinarian communication
- Interest in both outpatient-focused and hospital-based medicine
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
