EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Required: 2 years of previous veterinary experience
• Preferred: Active state technician license
• Required: High School graduate or equivalent

JOB SUMMARY

Technicians hired for this position will be tasked with animal handling, pre-and post-operative patient care, anesthesia monitoring and understanding, dental radiographs, and professional dental cleaning including ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and use of hand instruments for subgingival scaling and perioceutic application.

Technicians are also responsible for client communications and education on dental disease and prevention, as well as training the clients for a homecare regimen that meets the needs of the patient. Other duties in this position include general clinic care and cleaning, inventory assistance, and the ability to speak with clients and provide support to the CSR when needed.
