Maine Veterinary Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and motivated Emergency and Critical Care Clinical Supervisor to help lead our emergency and critical care team. In a setting where every moment matters, this role is key to supporting both patients and the people caring for them. You'll work closely with hospital leadership to create a strong, collaborative environment where your team feels supported and empowered to deliver exceptional care. This is a full-time day shift position, working Thursday through Saturday,6p-6a.

Maine Veterinary Medical Center (MVMC is a VECCS level two certified Rarebreed practice that has full in-house laboratory capabilities, a fluoroscopy suite for interventional procedures, a GE 64-slice CT, MRI, respiratory ventilator, in-house telemetric monitoring, ultrasound and endoscopy. MVMC is a multi-specialty hospital offering services in Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine. Veterinary Clinical Supervisor - Emergency

Salary:$32.00-$40.00 /per hour based on experience
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Team Leadership:
o Lead and support technical staff through daily guidance, coaching, and feedback
o Partner on hiring, onboarding, and performance management
o Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
Workflow & Operations:
o Oversee daily workflow, staffing, and patient flow
o Delegate responsibilities to support efficient, high-quality care
o Identify and improve processes to enhance team efficiency
Patient Care:
o Ensure consistent, high-quality nursing care across the department
o Support treatments, procedures, and diagnostics as needed
o Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Client Experience:
o Support a smooth, professional client experience
o Guide team interactions and assist with resolving concerns
Operations & Compliance:
o Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards
o Communicate updates and expectations clearly to the team
Training & Development:
o Lead onboarding and ongoing training
o Support team growth and skill development

REQUIREMENTS
• Licensed, Registered, or Certified Veterinary Technician (or equivalent education/experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of veterinary hospital experience
• Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift 40-50 pounds
