Cool Springs International, LLC is a privately held business that has been in operation for 25+ years. CSI works with international customers creating and supporting private label and branded pet food across the globe with long term partnerships that go back to the start of our company. We also have select key manufacturers, which have been our partners for 20+ years. We make key decisions with a full mutual perspective both for our customers and manufacturing partners.
Company History
Cool Springs International, LLC was originally formed in 1994 as North American Pet Products, Inc. In 1999, North American Pet Products entered into a joint venture with Doane Pet Care Company. This new venture was named Doane International Pet Products, LLC (DIPP). In 2006, Doane Pet Care and DIPP were acquired by Mars Petcare USA. DIPP remained part of the Mars organization until August 2009, when the management team of DIPP purchased the company and changed the name to Cool Springs International, LLC (CSI.)
Today, Cool Springs International is once again an independent company with the same management team and many of the same dedicated employees. CSI is a leading supplier of pet foods to national brand owners, retailers and distributors with an extensive network throughout Asia and Latin America. In addition to partnering with many progressive companies, our product knowledge and understanding of international markets has fueled our rapid growth. Our primary goal is to deliver consistent, high quality products at competitive prices, and drive continuous improvement to our customers. Our products include dry foods for dogs and cats, as well as wet products, semi-moist, oven-baked biscuits, soft moist and meat-based pet treats.
