Company Overview
Frisco Emergency Pet Care is a new, but already-growing, state-of-the-art nights-weekends-holidays (for now) emergency practice just north of Dallas, close to Frisco's "5 billion dollar mile." We use current technology to make the staff efficient, improve communication with clients and referring practices, and genuinely have fun delivering excellent patient and client care.
Company History
Frisco Emergency Pet Care was founded in 2015, and construction on the actual hospital started in late spring 2016, with the doors opening to clients on 21 July 2016. The founders are emergency veterinarians. Because they are experienced ER docs, they know enough to listen to their supporting veterinarians and their staff. They believe in Sir Richard Branson's mottos “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to" and "Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your clients."
Benefits
All of our employees get paid time off, accrued per hour worked. Our full-time employees are eligible for health insurance benefits, and our doctors get generous CE allowances. Occasionally, we send support staff to conferences to increase their knowledge and skills, and give them the opportunity to train others.
