Buckman Veterinary Clinic is looking for a veterinarian to join our team! 

About Us: We are a privately owned, small-animal general practice in inner southeast Portland focused on providing detailed, high-quality veterinary medicine, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service and low-stress patient care.  We believe in work-life balance for our entire team, and focus on communication, organization, and building a positive culture to create an open, friendly work environment.  We provide profit share for our support team to recognize their contributions, which helps us attract and retain an excellent care staff, including six experienced CVTs.  We are AAHA-Accredited and Cat Friendly Gold through the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, with a modern facility and equipment.  

The role: The ideal candidate would provide thoughtful, detailed case management and be a kind and collaborative co-worker. Our clients appreciate an active role in their pet's healthcare, so excellent client communication and case follow-up are key. 2+ years of experience or internship preferred.  Flexible schedule, with full-time (3 shifts per week) or part-time options.  Weekday shifts are 8 am - 6 pm, Saturdays 9 am-2 pm. Surgery/dentistry shifts are available, but not required, based on your interest.  Competitive hourly base plus production & compensation package.  Full-time employees receive health/dental/vision insurance. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) and Oregon licensure in good standing
