Description

We are a private local family-owned clinic located near the sandy beaches in Panama City Beach, FL. We are a companion animal practice offering routine health care, a wide variety of surgical procedures, dental prophylaxis/treatment, and a multitude of other services for the pets of our community. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian at our Panama City Beach, FL location. The job includes preventative care, work-ups on sick patients, routine and emergency surgeries (soft tissue), dental care, and client education. We operate Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5:30 PM and are closed for any major holidays. The position would require a 4-5 day work week. We strongly believe in work-life balance while also providing excellent care for our patients.

Requirements

• Proficiency in diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions in companion animals
• Demonstrated skills in surgical procedures and emergency veterinary care
• Experience with client communication, including educating pet owners on wellness and preventative care
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills to contribute to a positive clinic environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to ensure optimal care for all patients
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Valid veterinary license to practice in Florida
• Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on veterinary medical advancements
