Emergency Veterinarian – Veterinary Referral Hospital (VRH) Dandenong
Location: Melbourne, Australia | Full-time or Part-time
Ready for your next ECC challenge - somewhere sunnier, bolder, and clinically world-class? Australia could be calling.
The Role
The Veterinary Referral Hospital (VRH) has been delivering exceptional emergency and referral care to Melbourne pets for over 25 years. Our purpose-built, 24-hour facility is designed to support advanced clinical practice, collaboration, and continuous learning. We see a diverse and complex caseload and pride ourselves on exceptional standards of veterinary medicine alongside compassionate, client-focused care.
Our Emergency & Critical Care department is a highly supportive and energetic team, comprising three internationally recognised specialists (FANZCVS & DACVECC), a residency-trained ECC Registrar, ANZCVS Membership-qualified veterinarians, experienced emergency clinicians, and motivated recent graduates. Knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and professional development are central to our culture.
For veterinarians considering a move from overseas, our goal is to provide a guided, well-supported transition - not a leap into the unknown.
