You'll join a cohesive team of 10 ER clinicians with strong specialist support across Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Critical Care, and Neurology. Our rotating internship program also adds another layer of learning and clinical collaboration.
IndyVet sees emergencies and referred cases only, allowing our team to focus exclusively on patients who need advanced or urgent care while maintaining strong relationships with referring veterinarians throughout Indiana.
Our hospital is AAHA accredited, a Cat Friendly Practice, and Fear Free Certified. We also partner with the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that helps veterinary practices provide discounted or no-charge care to qualifying patients and families.
Our 30,000-square-foot facility is equipped to support a wide range of emergency and specialty cases, including:
- GE 2mm CT scanner
- High-field Hallmarq MRI
- Advanced ultrasound
- Bedside POCUS
- Dedicated Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Surgery services
- Highly skilled veterinary support staff
Why Indianapolis?
Indianapolis offers the best of both worlds for veterinarians looking to build a rewarding career without sacrificing quality of life: a vibrant metropolitan community with a welcoming Midwestern feel and a cost of living that allows your paycheck to go further. Outside the hospital, you'll find professional sports, outstanding restaurants and breweries, live music and major events, vibrant neighborhoods, extensive parks and trails, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, whether you're looking for an active city lifestyle or a quieter place to call home. And with Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, and other Midwest destinations just a short drive away, Indianapolis is an ideal home base for exploring, traveling, and making the most of your time off.
