Description
A NEW HOPE
Are you looking for a gig in a part of the galaxy where the Empire doesn't have a foothold? Where tough princesses (of any gender) and rogue pilots can make a difference? Where hot-shot new grads with a mix of over and under confidence can learn to use the Force?
Here are the coordinates: 47°26'50.35"N, 122°27'35.46"W
We are seeking an exceptional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our mission.
When you join us at our base, you will be working for an independent veterinary clinic that doesn't report to a corporate overlord. You will have control over how you practice your craft. Your input, insight, and experience will be valued instead of being pushed aside in favor of one-size-fits-none SOPs. You will be able to meet clients and team members where they are instead of being expected to enact a plan that best feeds money to far distant upper management. You will be part of an organization that values you as a person versus a replaceable clone in the revenue generator.

Vashon Island itself is a uniquely amazing place to live. We have beautiful shoreline and access to water-based activities, as well as hiking, biking, and riding trails. It is rural yet close to cities and an international airport. Vashon has a fantastic school system and is a wonderful place for families. Vashon's community is tightly knit and inclusive. Plus you can't beat the average commute time of 5 to 15 minutes from home to work, not to mention there's no real traffic.
