Brewer Animal Hospital is currently seeking to fill a licensed Vet Tech position in our busy 3 doctor small animal clinic located in Springfield, IL.  Full-time or part-time.  We are 100% small animal seeing dogs and cats only.  Most of our full time staff has been here more than 3 years. We are offering a generous hourly wage based on level of experience.  Full time would be 32 to 40 hours per week, part time would be negotiable.  Every other Saturday morning shifts are required on a rotating basis with technician assistants.  We presently have one experienced licensed technician.  We also have several technician/doctor assistants.

-          Clinic is open 7:30-6:00 M-F and 8:00-12:00 Sat

Applicants must be able to work well with others in a team environment. We require you to be proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement, surgery assistance, pharmacy duties, lab work including manual differentials, fecals, ear swab analysis, urine sediment, dental prophylaxis, radiology positioning, dental radiology, patient monitoring, animal restraint and client communication.
