Description
We are looking for someone to join our team as an Experienced NC Licensed Veterinarian Technician. We are a privately owned small business, not corporate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a strong background in veterinary practices. Only experienced, hard working, fun, animal & people loving, service oriented, awesome people need to apply! We are a fast paced environment & we're looking for someone who is able to multi-task, be team oriented, self-motivated, be able to prioritize & accomplish tasks.
Areas that you will need to be strong in are surgery, dentistry, x-rays, fecals, cytology, patient care, client care, restraint of animals, etc. This position will also require some cross training on our front desk & throughout the hospital to allow our team to serve our clients well. Familiarity with Cornerstone would be an added bonus.
We provide a rotating schedule of 35-40 hours for our FT RVT positions.
An example of our current schedule, but this will be changing as we add on to our team.
A: 40 hours working Monday, Tuesday, 1/2 day Wednesday, Friday, & 1/2 day Saturday. Off Wednesday afternoon, Thursday all day, Saturday afternoon, Sunday all day. (& Monday for the next weeks rotation.)
B: 40 hours working Tuesday through Friday. Off Monday, Saturday, & Sunday.
C: 40 hours working Monday through Thursday. Off Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.

Requirements
Skills you will need to be strong in are anesthesia, assisting in surgery, dental cleaning, dental radiographs, radiographs, fecals, cytology, patient care, client care, restraint of animals, etc. It is also very important that this person can multi-task and be team oriented.
