At Maryborough Veterinary Surgery, we've built a practice where veterinarians are encouraged to develop their skills, pursue their interests, and enjoy coming to work each day. Located on Queensland's beautiful Fraser Coast, you'll join a close-knit team of 5 veterinarians, 7 nurses and 4 receptionists who genuinely support one another through the busy days and celebrate the good ones together.

What Will Your Week Look Like?

No two days are the same. One day may involve routine consultations and preventative healthcare, while the next could see you managing challenging internal medicine cases, performing surgery, or working through complex diagnostic investigations. You'll be encouraged to grow your confidence, expand your clinical skills and practise high-quality medicine with the support of an experienced team.

Requirements

Essential

Veterinary degree recognised in Australia
Eligible for veterinary registration in Australia
Passion for animal welfare and client care
Team-oriented attitude
Current driver's licence

Desirable

Small animal experience
Surgical confidence
Emergency experience
