- Urgent Care Veterinarian- AcuteVet- Privately Owned- Overland Park, Kansas
Description
AcuteVet Animal Urgent Care is a privately owned urgent care practice in Overland Park, Kansas. Our hospital model was designed to fill the space between primary care and the traditional specialty hospital.
We see the cases that can't wait until tomorrow, but don't necessarily require a boarded specialist. That means our days range from vomiting dogs and withdrawn cats to trauma, foreign bodies, toxin exposures, dystocia, urethral obstruction, respiratory distress, and patients who need stabilization and evaluation to determine if they require a the boarded specialist. We also perform emergency soft tissue surgeries and have multiple doctors who frankly prefer cases that require more than a quick visit.
We're serious about practicing great medicine. We're equally serious about creating a place where people want to come to work.
Because we're privately owned, our focus is on our patients, our clients, and our team. We are founded on providing high-quality medical care and supporting clients through stressful situations, while recognizing that taking care of our team is just as important. A good work environment isn't a perk for us; it's how we believe a good practice should operate.
