You'll work alongside dedicated emergency and specialty teams in a state-of-the-art environment designed to support advanced diagnostics, critical care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including triage and stabilization.
- Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to protocol development.
- Perform advanced therapies, including mechanical ventilation and other critical care procedures utilizing available hospital resources.
- Support ongoing growth of the Emergency & Critical Care service and specialty programs.
- Engage in continuing education and mentorship opportunities within the Ethos network.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Kansas veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Emergency & Critical Care (DACVECC) or completion of an ACVECC-approved residency training program.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
- A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
