About You
You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.
Your Experience & Skills
- Experience in veterinary oncology and chemotherapy administration highly preferred
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- Phlebotomy and IV catheter skills required
- Ability to monitor and recognize patient’s status, adverse reactions, and side effects of treatments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, the oncology team, and other departments.
- Familiarity with Ezy Vet and Smartflow is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities to effectively meet patient needs

About The Hospital
After Hour Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing Oncology team.
As an Oncology veterinary technician, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

The Oncology Veterinary Technician will be responsible for supporting our oncology service administering IV and oral chemotherapy, performing treatments, monitoring patients, and assisting in the care of patients. This role will have direct contact with our clients and their pets.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $20-22/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
