Central Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Our Veterinary Technicians are empowered, respected medical professionals who play a vital role in patient care and client experience. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with doctors, support staff, and leadership in a collaborative environment focused on high-quality medicine and excellent communication.

Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on veterinary experience and be confident in both technical skills and client communication.
Key responsibilities include:
• Patient restraint and handling
• Anesthesia administration and monitoring
• Surgical and dental assistance
• Laboratory and radiology procedures
• Pharmacy and medication management
• Routine medical care and diagnostics
• Accurate medical record keeping
• Client education and communication
Veterinary Technicians are integral to our hospital's success and are expected to collaborate effectively, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute positively to team culture.
Applicant Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong focus on client service and patient care
• Knowledge of animal handling, common veterinary drugs, and clinical procedures
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism
• High school diploma (required)
• Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience (required)
• Degree in veterinary or related field (preferred)
• Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
